Our Direct client is looking for 2 Measurement Engineers due to their ever
increasing role in perspective technologies. If you are interested in working

Scope of Position:
Manage the introduction and support of new measurement and controls technologies
in the division. Develop standardized methods and procedures for currently
deployed measurement systems. Support on-going process improvement projects
through new measurement developments. Both lead and be part of project teams.
Division level contact for manufacturing support of installed systems.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Management of measurement and controls systems. Leadership in the design,
building, testing and extension of various measurement and controls systems
in the division. Development and execution of Measurement Systems Analysis
and R&R studies. Work with manufacturing, engineering, development and
information technology groups to bring standard methods to measurement and
controls systems, along with data storage and presentation. Support of installed
measurement and controls systems in manufacturing.
Travel Requirements:
Travel to Environmental Technologies remote plant locations, including Blacksburg
Virginia, Kaiserslautern Germany, Port Elizabeth South Africa and Shanghai
China. 15% - 30% travel requirements.
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:
Normal Business Hours: 8:00AM – 5:00PM M-F
Expected to work hours required to successfully deliver project and support
requirements.
Required Skills (These are skills that candidates MUST possess)
- Strong knowledge of measurements, instrumentation and controls technologies.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Measurement Systems Analysis and R&R experience.
- Base knowledge of statistical analysis.
- Software programming experience.
Desired Skills (These are skills that would be nice for
candidates to possess)
- Manufacturing experience and ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Computer vision system experience.
- Experience with TS-16949 quality standards
Education and Experience (minimum required for consideration)
- BS in engineering
- 5+ years measurements experience
Soft Skills (Communication/Team/Leadership)
- Strong written and verbal communications and overall people skills
- Resolve conflicts with peers, customers, etc.
- Ability to easily work with different functional areas (development, engineering,
manufacturing, trades, etc.)
