Objective: Generate new HMI screens that will control batching sequences, valving and heat exchanger operations. Assist Roch engineering team in finalizing new proposed CIP batching operations. Work closely with process engineers in determining feasability of proposed ideas. Aid in development of P&ID diagrams needed for new CIP process and modification of Buffer Tank sequence.
Responsibilities: Modified numerous process flow diagrams
on Pegylation Filtering System, while referencing a detailed P&ID. Redesigned
existing Buffer Tank Process to function as a CIP process. Generated new HMI
screens, using FIX DMAC software. Performed numerous upload/download instructions
to Modicon touchscreen. Trained personnel on operation of new and modified sequences.
These screens controlled the operation of the new CIP process and numerous Buffer
Tank sequences. Modified PLC ladder logic using RS-logix software. Generated
new CIP sequence and valving operation code according to company standards.
Modified PID Heat Exchanger feed back loops. Tested all sequence operations,
valving and alarming in conjunction with validation engineers. Trained personnel
on operation of new and modified sequences. Directed and supervised 2 other
engineers using the most cost effective and effecient techniques, to successfully
complete their individual tasks.
