Project: Blending Room 4 Installation

CAC successfully lead the project from start to finish, while following GMPs within a clean room environment. We coordinated and supervised personnel such as electricians and engineers while adhering to NEC, and IS (Intrisic Safety) procedures. Authored all necessary specifications needed to maintain design conformity eg. Functional, Hardware, Software Specifications etc.. Design electrical schematics on ACAD 2000 and calculate motor and circuit loads on system. Design control panel layout, conduit runs, cables and wiring needed for integration. Layed out a successful PLC system architecture that allows for reliable communications to multiple PLCs. Wrote PLC code needed to automate Blending process and P&ID control loops. Coordinated construction of room with electrical and maintenance personnel. Researched most cost-effective engineering options. Conducted effecient component and vendor selections for overall project. Research OIT (Operator Interface Options) for Blending Room design,

CAC
become focal point for new installation of Blending Rooms and delivery of a complete and comprehensive engineering package. We implemented new Blending Room system from concept to startup in a Class II Division I hazardous location. Developed automated blending room system based upon current NEC and NFPA 79 standards. This automated system was controlled by an Omron CS1H-CPU63, it monitored, managed and recorded critical process operations and decreased human error and intervention during production. Additional duties included status meetingss, writing Functional, Software Specifications, ACAD Design, equipment selection, power distribution, BOM, ordering, supervision of panel builders, electricians, control panel design, PLC programming, OIT/HMI programming, pneumatic design, load calculations, testing and vendor coordination.
